Rebecca Simpson Asher

Rebecca Simpson "Sissy" Asher, born September 24, 1952 in Clay County, Ky, the daughter of  Howard Simpson & the late Ruth Strong Simpson. She passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY. at the age of 64. Rebecca had been a resident of Hyden for the last 9 years coming from Ohio. By occupation she had worked as a cook for a Nursing Home & Restaurant. She enjoyed traveling, & loved her nieces & nephews.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her mom, Ruth Strong, husband, Ernest Asher & 2 brothers, Terry Lee Simpson & Daryl Simpson. She leaves the following relatives surviving, her father, Howard Simpson, New Miami, Ohio, 3 brothers, J.R. Smith, Hamilton, Ohio, David Simpson & Vicky, Hamilton, Ohio & Jimmy Simpson, Hamilton, Ohio, 2 sisters, Loretta Perry, Bear Branch, KY. & Doris Jean Johnson, Hamilton, Ohio, half-brother, Boone Simpson, Stinnett, KY., half-sister, Vesta Lou Simpson, special uncle, Gardener Simpson, special cousins, Buck Mosley &  Edna Conrad, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews & cousins survive.

Tuesday, May 30, 2017 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
