Janice Collett

Janice L. Collett "Granny" of Asher, KY., passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. at the age of 79. Janice was born at Evarts, KY. on January 1, 1938, the daughter of the late, Joe Lloyd & the late, Charity Lowe Lloyd. Janice had been a resident of Leslie County since 1953. She was a member of the Bowens Creek United Baptist Church at Essie, KY. 

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dewey, one son, Bruce Collett, three brothers, Chelmer Lloyd, Delmer Lloyd & Don Lloyd, one sister, Glennis McQueen & son-in-law, Derek Hoskins.  She leaves the following relatives surviving, five sons, Montana Collett & Tammy, TN., Monroe Collett, Asher, KY., Dave Collett & Lorna, TN., Lanny Collett & Melissa, Asher, KY. & Mark Collett, Asher, KY., two daughters, Janet Hoskins, Asher, KY. & Sandy Warrens & Jason, Floyd Co., KY., four brothers, Mack Lloyd, TN., Ronnie Lloyd, IN., Billy Joe Lloyd, MI. & Dallas Lloyd, Lejunior, KY., two sisters, Dee Wise, TN. & Darlene Carter, Lejunior, KY., 13 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren, special church family friends, Harold Collett & Andrew. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Friday, October 6, 2017 @ 12:00 noon at the Bowens Creek Cemetery, Essie, KY.
