Mr. Gaston "Frog" Couch, husband of Vadis Young Couch passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at the U.K. Medical Center, Lexington, KY. at the age of 77. He was born at Hyden, KY on Feb. 14, 1940 the son of the late Wiley Couch and the late Dallie Napier Couch. Gaston "Frog" Couch was a retired Coal Truck Driver and had also worked as a repairman in the mining industry. Mr. Gaston Couch was affiliated with the Church of God and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. His hobbies included fishing and spending time with his family especially his beloved grandchildren. Frog was preceded in death by his parents, one beloved daughter: Donna Jo Couch, brothers: Van Couch, James Couch, Clarence Couch and Albert Couch. He leaves surviving the following relatives: his loving and devoted wife:  Vadis Young Couch whom he married in Sept. 3, 1963, one beloved son: Marty Couch & Donna of Hyden, KY, one brother: Aster Couch of VA, one sister: Mary Horton of Hyden, KY, two treasured grandchildren: Kaylynn Couch and Lyndsey Couch. FUNERAL SERVICES: 1:00 P.M. - Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home at Hyden, KY
VISITATION: 6:00 P.M. -Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the funeral home chapel.
OFFICIATING MINISTER:  Rev. Teddy Couch
PLACE OF INTERMENT:  Owl's Nest Cemetery at Hyden, KY
PALLBEARERS: Burley Couch, Bryan Couch, Mike Couch, Jimmy Couch, John Wiley Couch, Jason Couch, Jamie Couch, and Gary Ned Begley.
