Audley William Barger

Mr. Audley William "Bill" Barger was born November 22, 1947 departed this life on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Ky., at the age of 70. Bill was born at Hyden, Ky., the son of the late Troy Barger & Mae Bentley Barger.  Bill was a retired coal miner & served honorably in the United States Army.  He was a charter member of the Leslie Co. DAV Chapter # 133.  Bill enjoyed bluegrass music & festivals & mechanic work.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Charles D. Young, Lee Barger & Roy Barger & 1 sister, Bernice Lewis. He leaves the following relatives surviving, 4 brothers, Hubert Barger & Rowena, Hyden, KY., Eugene Barger, Hyden, KY., Harold Barger & Florence, Hyden, KY. & Boyd Dean Barger, London, , Ky., 3 sisters, Pauline Morgan & Wilbur, OH., Betty Sue Morgan & Mark, OH. & Lois Jean Barger, OH., special friend, Betty Morgan, Stinnett, KY. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Wednesday, December 20, 2017 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
