      THE OBITUARY OF MR. RALEIGH JOSEPH

 Mr. Raleigh Joseph age 75, departed this life on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Ky.  He was born at Wooton, KY the son of the late John R. and Fannie Miniard Joseph Roberts. By occupation Raleigh was a retired coal miner having worked at Blue Diamond Coal Co. and James River Coal. He enjoyed horseback riding, squirrel hunting, fishing, ATV riding, and especially spending time with his grandkids. Raleigh was affiliated with the Church of Christ and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. He was preceded in death by his parents John R. and Fannie Miniard Joseph Roberts, beloved daughter: Teresa Joseph.  Survivors include his loving and devoted wife; Elizabeth Pennington Joseph to whom he was united in marriage to on November 16, 1965, of Wooton, KY, sons: John R. Joseph & Teresa of Wooton, KY, Jerry Kilburn & Betty of Wooton, KY, step-sons: Danny Causey & Irma of Wooton, KY, Donnie Causey & Patty of Wooton, KY daughter: Tammy Adkins & Michael of Milton, WV, brothers: Billy Wayne Roberts of Wooton, Ky, Ray Roberts & Glenda of Smilax, KY Clayton Roberts of Wooton, KY, Clinton Roberts & Jackie of Wooton, Ky sisters: Loretta Baker of Smilax, Ky, Geraldine Kidd and James of Somerset, Ky., Diane Cornett & Robert of Wooton, Ky grandchildren Special Grandson raised as his own son: Justin Joseph & Brittany, Miranda Baker, Rene Causey, Daniel Causey, Donathon Causey, Savanah Causey, Brooke Jones, Eric Kilburn, Jerry Don Kilburn and Brittany Miller.
