Essie Morgan

Essie Morgan of Hoskinston, KY. passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital in Hyden, KY. at the age of 95. Essie was born April 2, 1922 in Leslie Co., KY., the daughter of the late, James & Mary Howard Morgan. By occupation she worked as a grocery store clerk. Essie had served as Leslie Co. School Board member from 1964-1970. She was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. Essie enjoyed quilting & canning.

Essie was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Ethel Morgan & Nora Morgan, 4 brothers, Fred, Arthur, Corbett & Felix Morgan, 1 nephew, Fred Morgan, Jr. & 1 niece, Carol Coy. She leaves the following relatives surviving, 3 nephews, J.B. Morgan & Shirley, Hoskinston, KY., Jack Morgan, Hoskinston, KY. & Danny Ray Morgan & Frances, Hoskinston, KY., 3 nieces, Judy Rose Saylor, Hoskinston, KY., Carmolitta Morgan Pace & Johnny, Hoskinston, KY. & Mary K. Morgan, Chappell KY., Also a host of great & great great nephews & nieces survive.
