Jeffrey D. Sexton

Jeffrey D. Sexton of Wooton, KY. passed away at his residence Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at the age of 63. Jeff was born July 19, 1955 at Letcher Co., Ky., the son of the late, Clyde F. Sexton & Nancy Collins Sexton. He had been a resident of Leslie Co. for the past 24 years, coming from Letcher Co. By occupation Jeff had worked as a underground coal miner for 22 years & owner of C&J Market at Wooton, KY. for 15 years. Jeff was affliated with the Little Colley Church at Isom, KY. He enjoyed riding motorcyles & working.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, John Clyde & Jack Wayne Sexton & 3 sisters, Billie Blair, Sandy Woods & Joanie Sexton. He leaves the following relatives surviving, loving & devoted wife, Christy Maggard Sexton of Wooton, KY., mother of children, Stephanie Raleigh Boggs, 2 beloved daughters, Tiffany Boggs (Rick) of Lawrenceburg, KY. & Taschelle Collins (Brian) of Isom, KY., 2 step-sons, Patrick Couch (Wanda) of Hyden, KY. & Kelly Couch of Wooton, KY., 1 brother, Jerry Sexton of North Carolina, 1 sister, Ola Vee Pollard (Carroll) of Simpsonville, KY. & 7 treasured grandchildren, Richmond Boggs, Buchanan Boggs, Coleman Boggs, William Collins, Cierra Couch, Chandler Couch & MaKrenda Couch. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.
