Mr. Curtis Bernard "C.B." Rezek born February 25, 1953 departed this life on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Hyden, Ky. He was 65 years old. C.B. was born in Hazard, Ky., the son of Jean Duff and the late Bernard Rezek. C.B. spent his formative years in Hyden, Ky., and the majority of his adult life he resided in Harlan, Ky. He received his Bachelor's degree from Cumberland College. C.B. was a retired locomotive engineer for the CSX railroad and retired Southern Baptist pastor. He had been a resident for the past 2 years in Shallotte, North Carolina. C.B. enjoyed restoring & mechanic work on Nissan Z cars, singing & music, however his greatest pleasure came from spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Curtis Bernard "C.B." Rezek was preceded in death by his father; Bernard Rezek. C.B. leaves the following relatives surviving; his loving and devoted mother; Jean Duff Rezek, beloved wife; Susan Lambert Rezek, of Shallotte, North Carolina, treasured children; Curt Rezek of Harlan, Ky., Brittany A. Gilliam and husband, Kris of Corbin, Ky., Ashley Cain and husband, Alan of Indiana, Jason Pursiful and wife Misty of Georgetown, Ky., sister; Frances Mullins of Gray, Ky., treasured grandchildren; Alexander Gilliam, Claire Gilliam, Mason Cain, Noah Cain, Knox Pursiful, Jonah Pursiful, niece; Kelly Eberth and husband Robert John, brother-in-law; Jack Miniard & wife, Stephanie & a host of other relatives and friends.
