James Walter Lewis

James Walter Lewis, 65, of Lexington passed away on October 29, 2018. Born on November 26, 1952, he was the son of the late Walter S. and Gussie Morgan Lewis. Jim was a member of Lexington Masonic Lodge #1 and the Oleika Shrine. He was a firefighter with the Lexington Fire Department for 25 years, and retired in 1999. Prior to joining the Fire Department, he had been a history major at the University of Kentucky, where he was also a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Jim is survived by his loving and adoring wife Rebecca Louise Sutterlin-Lewis and many great friends.

Funeral services will take place at Milward-Southland on Monday, November 5, 2018: Visitation from 11am-12:30pm, Testimonials from Friends 12:30pm-1:30pm, Masonic Service at 1:30pm, followed immediately by the Memorial Service at 2pm.
