Alabam Morgan

Mrs. Alabam Coots Morgan of Wendover, KY. passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center, Hyden KY. at the age of 95. Alabam was born April 14, 1923 at Cutshin, KY., the daughter of the late, Chester & Betty Williams Coots. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie Co. By occupation she was a retired employee for the Frontier Nursing Service for 40 years. Alabam was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, quilting & spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, loving & devoted husband, Aden Morgan & a host of brothers & sisters. She was survived by one beloved daughter, Mary Frances Morgan Meade & her husband, Chuck of Lexington, KY., 2 treasured grandchildren, Briget Whitaker (Elmer) & Chad Meade (Missy) & 4 treasured great grandchildren, Hannah, Allison, Natalie & Emma.
